Contract

Affiliate agreements are for a one-year term with a 30-day out clause at the end of every year. A copy of the agreement can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking here.

To download the IRS W-9 form required for receiving revenue share, click here. 

After completion, please fax all pages of the affiliate agreement and the W-9 form to 602-926-2601. The last page of the agreement will be countersigned and faxed back to you for your records.

Downloadable forms and documents

• Lodging Handout - Explains how properties can be added to the TravelHero database, how existing properties can update their information online and how properties can submit photos at no charge.
• Acceptance Letter - For distribution to properties that are not currently book-able through TravelHero, but would like to participate in online reservations and are unable to add their property online.
• EventHero Participation Agreement - Form that can be used to collect room block and rate information from properties participating in events targeting individual travelers such as promotional rate programs and packages.
• EventHero Venue Participation Agreement - Form that can be used to collect event ticketing and rate information from venues participating in events targeting individual travelers such as promotional rate programs and packages.

Implementation

Implementation only requires adding links to your website. Before implementation however, we would suggest that you do the following to optimize the effectiveness of the program:

• Log into your affiliate member area
  Login information, which generally consists of your email address and a password, will be provided to you after a signed agreement has been received. After receiving your log in information, click on the link below to login to your member area where you will have access to statistical reports and other options. http://partners.travelhero.com/affiliates/secure/login.cfm

• Associate properties with your affiliate account
  You will be able to control which properties are displayed in your affiliate account by associating properties with your account.
  • After logging into your affiliate member area, click on "Edit Cities/Properties". 
  • Add a city to your account.
  • Click on the city to view a list of properties in the TravelHero database in that city.
  • Place a checkmark next to the properties that you represent.
  • Click the "Update" button.
  • To view the list as the consumer would see it, click on the "Preview" icon.

• Add property descriptions
  Property descriptions can be added to help promote the unique features of each property.
  • In the "Edit Cities/Properties" area, click on a city to view a list of properties.
  • Click on the "Edit Desc" link next to a property associated with your account.
  • The short description will appear in the page that displays properties in a list format such as a city page.
  • The long description will appear in the property information page that displays detailed information on the property.

• Linking options
  A variety of linking options are available, which will allow you to customize the way your visitors can select lodging through your website. To view these links with your website's look & feel, simply change the affiliate ID number in the URL to your affiliate number.
  • All properties page - displays all properties associated with your account in one list. This link works well if you want to simply add one "Online Reservations" or "Accommodations" link in your website.

  • City page - displays all properties in a specific city associated with your account.

  • Property information page - displays detailed information on a specific property. This link can be used if you display a list of properties in your website and you want to add a link next to each participating property.

  • Reservation page - links directly to the reservation function for specific properties. This link can be used if you display a list of properties in your website and want to add "Check Availability" links next to each participating property.

  • List of cities page - displays a list of cities so visitors can find a property in the city they are traveling to.

  • Customized grouping of properties - you will be able to create customized groupings based on location or property types such as Airport Area, Downtown, Convention Center Area, Full Service Hotels, B&Bs, etc.

    To create groupings, click on "Edit Sub-regions" in the affiliate member area. 

Other Suggestions

• Each property can submit up to six (6) photos at no charge to enhance their listing. While it only takes a few minutes to send, photos can be a key factor in property selection. Photos can be emailed to photos@travelhero.com.
• Giving visitors every opportunity to book reservations from any page in your website is important. A suggestion would be to add an "Online Reservations" link to the navigation bar in your home page and on every subsequent page in your website.
• Use terms such as "Check Rates & Availability" or "More Information". Terms such as "Book Now", may be a little committal and intimidate visitors if they have not selected a place to stay.
• Use area maps when available. Remember that visitors may not know your area as well as you do so displaying a map with local attractions and property locations may help them find a property that meets their needs.
